Aloha Iā Halewilikō (formerly known as Halewilikō Highlands) represents the next step in fulfilling a community-driven master planning process, born out of the opportunity for redevelopment on the former site of the Aiea Sugar Mill. Our vision is to create a holistic living experience for lower-income seniors by providing affordable housing, onsite amenities, and senior services. A centrally-located multi-purpose room will be an integral part of the nurturing and supportive living environment we seek to create for our seniors and the focal point for activities organized by the EAH Resource Service Coordinator.
We are excited to partner with Lanakila Pacific to enhance our service options further. This nonprofit services provider will provide kūpuna services promoting healthy living, developing digital literacy skills, and distributing meals.
Aloha Iā Halewilikō is in a quiet residential area adjacent to the Aiea Public Library. Transit and neighborhood services are within walking distance.
