Current Status
Martel Seniors is currently under construction. The project commenced in April 2024, and the estimated completion date is 2025. Martel Seniors is one of two EAH’s first developments in the City of West Hollywood.
Project Overview
Martel Seniors is a brand-new affordable housing development for seniors and individuals with special needs, making 30%-60% of the local Area Median Income (AMI). Twenty-five (25) units are reserved for permanent supportive housing with vouchers. The community is one block from Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood and was acquired through an acquisition loan from the City of West Hollywood. The development consists of a single, 5-story building and one level of subterranean parking with approximately 19 parking spaces to serve residents and staff.
A community center will include a multipurpose room, common area lounge, property management offices, and on-site laundry. Outdoor open spaces have a landscaped podium deck with seating areas and a secondary amenity deck with room for added privacy, passive recreation, and outdoor events.
