Exciting news! Hale Nā Koa ‘O Hanakahi, EAH Housing’s 92-unit senior housing community in Hilo, Hawaiʻi, was selected as the “Best Seniors Project” in Affordable Housing Finance’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards! AHF’s Readers’ Choice Awards recognizes affordable housing developments that have significantly impacted their residents and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Thank you to everyone who voted and helped drive awareness around this much-needed affordable senior housing development. Hale Nā Koa, ‘O Hanakahi, is a 62-year-old or older senior community with a preference for veterans and surviving spouses. Amenities include an outdoor community center, a common area lounge and coffee bar, an exercise room, and a multi-purpose room with a full kitchen to host larger resident social activities.
