September 8, 2022 – Nonprofit housing developer EAH Housing has announced plans for Pointe on La Brea, a new affordable housing community on North La Brea Avenue in Hollywood, CA. The company is collaborating with FSY Architects and Westport Construction in transforming a former auto body shop into a five-story, 50-unit permanent supportive housing community.

“Going home every night to a safe space you can call your own should not be a privilege,” said Mayor Eric Garcetti in a news release. “Pointe on La Brea is yet another result of the success of HHH and our tireless efforts to produce quality housing for those most in need.”

Pointe on La Brea is a Measure HHH Development that will include 49 income restricted studio apartments for individuals experiencing homelessness and those impacted by mental illness. The 50th unit is an apartment for the resident manager. 25 of the 49 units will be reserved for the chronically homeless.
