Firestone Phoenix is a brand new 44-unit affordable housing development offering nine studios, 20 one-bedroom, and 15 two-bedroom apartments. This 3-story modern design community consists of supportive housing apartments for persons with special needs, multi-bedroom units for formerly homeless households living with mental illness, and apartments for formerly homeless veterans. Seven (7) apartments are designated for families below 50% of the area median income. In contrast, thirty-six (36) units are designated supportive housing units for direct referrals through the Veterans Housing and Homeless Prevention (VHHP) program and the Mental Health Housing Program (MHHP) provided by the LA County Department of Health Services and the LA County Department of Mental Health through the Coordinated Entry System for Los Angeles (CES).
