Director of Business Development, Northern California
Scott Johnson brings three decades of experience to EAH Housing in the planning, development, and management of inclusive communities within the non-profit and for-profit real estate sectors. He has developed affordable family, senior, and other special-needs rental and for-sale housing, along with mixed-income/mixed-use neighborhood centers. He has led projects through all facets of real estate development including acquisition, permitting, financing, construction, and occupancy, resulting in the creation of more than 1,000 units of affordable and workforce housing across 20 projects throughout Northern California.
Mr. Johnson has served as Director of Housing Development, and prior to that as Senior Project Manager, for two leading Bay Area non-profit development companies. In addition, he was founder and managing principal of several mission driven, for-profit development/consulting entities.
Mr. Johnson was raised in Uruguay, South America. He is fluent in Spanish and is passionately multicultural. He earned a Master’s in Public Administration from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor’s in Ibero-American Studies & Spanish Literature from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
