Robert Schraeger joined the EAH Housing team as the Vice President of Real Estate Management in 2017. He is responsible for the full portfolio of EAH-managed properties in both California and Hawai‘i including direct oversight of the Real Estate Management team of Regional Managers and Property Supervisors, Resident Services Managers, Training and Compliance. He is also responsible for the On-Site Policies & Procedures Manual and implementation, ensuring that all property operations follow and adhere to appropriate governmental and EAH policies.
Mr. Schraeger works in conjunction with the Real Estate Development department to review potential acquisitions and development sites, develop budgets for the properties or potential developments, and ensure smooth transitions in management operations during property rehabilitations and acquisitions.
Mr. Schraeger has over 30 years of real estate management experience from an extensive background spanning the western United States from Northern and Southern California, to Washington and Montana. He has served as Vice President of Property Management for several large organizations with multi-state property portfolios in both affordable (HUD, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Bond) and conventional market rate housing.
From 2005 to 2012 he was Vice President of Legacy Management Group in Everett, Washington, where he helped grow the company from 32 to 160 properties. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Property Operations at USA Properties Fund, Inc. in Roseville, California, where he oversaw a team of 10 Regional Property Supervisors and 300 on-site employees, prior to coming to EAH Housing.
Known for his ability to create cohesive and highly productive teams, Robert has a history of training personnel in-house and building up leadership within the organization.
